10 years in the UK Film Industry

Tony started in the industry in 1998 as part of his Tonmeister Music & Sound Recording Course at Surrey University. Having graduated from this prestigious course with First Class Honours he quickly established himself as a specialist feature music editor. Today he is much in demand with both independent and studio pictures here in the UK and abroad.

What's new?

Mamma Mia! has just become the biggest grossing musical worldwide, ever which is good news - . Today, October 30th 2008 it became the UK's highest ever grossing British film taking a total of £66,995,224 to date. I'm glad to have been a part of that enormous musical machine and I think I miss people bursting into song as part of daily routine! I'm currently back with Stephen Frears and Alexandre Desplat (a partnership we saw first on The Queen), on Cheri for Miramax and Pathe.

MPSE Golden Reel for Mamma Mia!

In February 2009 I was delighted to win the MPSE Golden Reel award for Best Music Editing in a Feature Film (Musical) at a ceremony in LA. Thanks to everyone over there for making me feel so welcome.
